What does it mean to be kind? Is it just doing nice things for others; asking them about their day and actually listening to the response, buying them a cup of coffee, encouraging them when they need it? Or is it something deeper? Something that doesn’t feel natural but rather a skill that is developed?
This past weekend I made a huge financial mistake. A mistake I thought would take me years to pay off. A mistake that the enemy used to attack me relentlessly. A mistake that broke me and had me yelling at God and wondering where I went wrong.
God is the God of now. We get so caught up in the “I was” and “I will be” that we forget the “I am.” Remember God in the present. Because He hasn’t once forgotten you.
