Selah

I often wonder why I am in Los Angeles and the word I got was Selah. Selah is a technical musical term probably showing accentuation, pause, interruption. LA is my life’s summer school.

“I am emptying myself
of the busyness and setting a new rhythm for my life

A rhythm that does not strive
Does not rush
Nor jump

But one that glides with grace
And flows with ease

One that matches my heart’s song to the one that created me
Because it’s in his peace that I find my perfect rhythm of rest”
