While on the Pacific Coast Highway heading towards Malibu I perfected the Hair Tie.

I created this pattern while on a drive to the beach via pacfic highway.
I hope you enjoy making this as much as I did!
For this pattern you will need:
You will need to know how to:
- Double Crochet
Dc: Double Crochet
Dc2tog: Double Crochet Two Stitches Together
*: Repeat instructions that are within **
Length is a bit over 28 inches
Width is 1in at the thinnest part and 1½ at the thickest part.
- I always chain with a hook that’s 2 sizes up
- Your chain does not count as a st until you get to the body
Ch 2, 2Dc into second chain, turn (2sts)
Ch1, 1dc, 2dc into same st, turn (3sts)
Ch1, 2dc into same st, 1dc into next 2 sts, turn (4sts)
Ch1, 1dc into next 3 sts, 2dc into last st, turn (4sts)
Ch1, 2dc into same st, 1dc into next 4 sts, turn (5sts)
Ch1, 1dc into next 4 sts, 2dc into last st, turn (6sts)
Ch2, *sk1, 1dc, ch1,* 1dc into last st, turn (4sts counting your ch)
Ch1, *1dc into ch sp, ch1* 1dc into previous rows ch, turn (4sts counting your ch)
Continue last row until desired length
Ch1 * 1dc into st, 1dc into chain* (6sts)
Ch1, 1dc into next 4sts, Dc2tog, turn (5sts)
Ch1, Dc2tog, 1dc into next 3sts, turn (4sts)
Ch1, 1dc into next 2sts, Dc2tog, turn (3sts)
Ch1, Dc2tog, 1dc into next st, turn (2sts)
Ch1, Dc2tog, fasten off
