Calling

When I finally had time to sit down and think about my move to Los Angeles here is what I wrote.

You said,

“Come.”

So here I am.

Knowing you will catch me if I fall.

“I am with you”

You promised me.

Therefore, I shall not fear.

Scriptures:

‘Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”’

Genesis 12:1-3

‘Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. ‘

Isaiah 6:8

‘Is anything too hard for the Lord ? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”’

Genesis 18:14

‘The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.’

Psalms 23:1

‘Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.’

Psalms 23:4

‘But now, thus says the Lord , who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.’

Isaiah 43:1-2
